The Man Booker Prize

a literary prize awarded each year for the best original novel, written in the English language and published in the UK.

The Man Booker International Prize

Established in 2005 biennially rewarding an author for a body of work originally written in any language as long as it was widely available in English. Unlike the annual Man Booker Prize, this award is based on a writer’s entire body of work, rather than a single novel.

The International Dublin Literary Award

Presented annually since 1996. The largest prize for a single novel published in English and nominations are made by public libraries around the world. Unlike the annual Man Booker Prize, this award is based on a writer’s entire body of work, rather than a single novel.

BBC National Short Story Award

An annual prize, established in 2006 in order to reward "homegrown" talent and only open to writers resident in the UK., managed in partnership with Booktrust.

Governor General's Awards
